Fireside Chat: SCP Founder Stories

A conversation about the real path of founders: building a company in a bootstrap model, developing services and products, working with large organizations and innovative startups, and creating a community in a pro bono model. It will be a story about decisions, perseverance, pivots, and lessons that only come with time — when you are building not just a business, but also an environment of people who want to grow together. At the end — a surprise: a case study of SCP’s new branding, created in collaboration with the University of the Arts in Poznań.

Live Hot Seat: how to sell real value

2–3 short live coaching sessions based on real founder offers. At the core will be one key question: what transformation are you really selling? Participants will see how to analyze the value proposition, identify customer blockers, choose the right proof points, and better understand the customer journey toward the desired outcome. An additional element will be a “value perception audit” checklist, designed to be useful even after the event.

This SCP meetup brings together two perspectives into one cohesive experience: an inspiring conversation about the founder journey and a hands-on exploration of how to build and communicate value to customers. In the first part, Przemek Siódmiak (313C) and Leon van der Laan (Remode) will share their early steps in entrepreneurship, the growth of their companies, and the origins of Startup Community Poznań — a community now entering a new stage of development. In the second part, participants will see how these experiences translate into business practice. Leon will lead a live hot seat coaching session for 2–3 founders, demonstrating how to sell transformation instead of just features, uncover real customer blockers, and build an offer whose value is truly recognized by the market. This is a new format within the “Garage” section — dynamic, direct, and based on real examples, with actionable insights that can be applied immediately.
