Startup Community Poznań is a community that you can join in various ways. There is no single profile of an ideal member. What matters is that you want to build, support, or simply be closer to people who do interesting things.
Below you will find the paths through which you can get involved:
Founder
This is the role for which SCP was primarily created. Founders and co-founders can meet people with similar challenges, gain knowledge, partners, first customers, specialists, team members, and investors. There are no requirements regarding the stage: there are both people with an MVP and those after a series of pivots, as well as those who have already made their first (or tenth) mistakes.
Ambassador
Ambassadors help develop SCP from the inside: they invite new people, inform about events, and connect people who should meet. Students also excel in this role, promoting SCP at their universities and in academic circles, bringing new people and fresh energy to the community.
Sponsor
Sponsors are companies and organizations that want to support the local innovation ecosystem. Thanks to them, we can develop events, invite interesting speakers, increase the reach of activities and facilitate founders' access to knowledge, networking, and investors. If your company wants to realistically support entrepreneurship in the region, this path is for you.
Investor
We are joined by business angels, private investors, and VC fund representatives. If you are looking for deal flow at early stages, want to meet founders before official rounds, and influence the development of local projects, SCP provides a great context for this: natural, informal, and relationship-based.
Mentor
Mentors share practical experience and help founders avoid mistakes they made along the way. Mentors can be both experts in their fields and more experienced founders who know what the process of building a company looks like from the inside: fundraising, recruitment, pivots, customer acquisition, and product scaling.
Expert
Experts are people with know-how that is critical in building companies: from law and taxes, through sales and marketing, to technology, product, growth, and financing. Experts can lead workshops, AMAs, consultations, or simply share knowledge during events and 1:1 conversations.
