Pssst, are you there? Startup Community Poznan is back, with loads of enthusiasm, announcements, and ideas that we need to share! Our ambition to settle up a vibrant community has grown as much as our team, but our existence would be pointless without you! The proper come back takes place on 7th February at 6 PM, thanks to the hospitality of +Jeden, at Str. Za Bramką 1. Our first guest after the winter break is Wojciech Sobczuk, CTO of VentureDevs, a software development company with offices in USA and Poland. Entrepreneur and lifelong hacker, Wojtek is an expert in over 15 programming languages and can bring an idea to life in only a few days. Wojtek’s experience as a founder and developer spans 18 years and includes building the largest Polish social network, Grono.net which has become a benchmark before the Facebook era. During his spare time, Wojtek is playing video games with his two sons. Wojtek will reveal the secret how to build successful startups based on his own history of business successes and failures. According to him, "each of my businesses would become a great success if only I knew what it takes to succeed 20 years ago". Traditionally, right after the meeting, we go downstairs for a snack and sip to Dobra i Wino. We hope that Wojtek will join us during the mingle time so the ice-breaking part will be fuelled with ideas and networking opportunities. As promised there will be more to share soon, so stay tuned!
