Who are we as SCP?

We integrate the Poznan startup community

At SCP, we connect current and future Founders from Poznan and the surrounding area, creating a space for exchanging experiences and knowledge. We connect them with people who can support them in developing and scaling their business. Our goal is to create a strong and active community focused on growth.

When a Founder needs funding...

90% of startups fail not because the product idea is bad, but because they lack sufficient funding. SCP is a place that connects founders with potential investors and institutions (mainly VC funds and business angels) who want to invest in innovative products that bring value to others.

What is always put off until later...

...is the Founder's development, strengthening leadership skills, and building a strong team that functions well in a high-risk environment. Networking skills, presenting, pitching, negotiations: all of this is often not a Founder's priority. SCP is a place that offers space and people who share knowledge and practical tools ready for immediate implementation.

Goal: you are not alone

When you start your startup, you have 1000 things to do and often no one to help you or even bounce ideas off of. The goal of SCP is to make sure you are no longer alone - it's a place where you can get support, advice, and gain skills. The fact that we share common challenges and face similar things unites us: after all, we can be stronger together.

Who are the people involved in SCP?

Founders, Co-Founders, and startup employees

The core of SCP are people who run startups and are involved in working with them: regardless of the product development stage or funding rounds raised. They are here for knowledge and networking, but also to share their experiences.

People who want to start their own startup

These are people who have an idea, perhaps see a problem to solve, and are thinking about starting a startup. Sometimes they lack the courage, sometimes they don't know where to start or how to approach the next steps of running a startup.

VCs and business angels

These are individuals or representatives of organizations who want to invest in innovative solutions and products that have the potential to have a real impact on the world. They want to invest money, but not only that.

People supporting the startup ecosystem

The remaining group consists of consultants, mentors, and advisors (e.g., in finance or law), representatives of non-governmental organizations, organizations supporting innovation, and students from local universities who want to get to know the startup world.

Sounds good? Let's meet!
